Turning moments into art.

Attractions in  Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania is more famous for its revolutionary past. Naturally, this means that the state
has to offer some of the most amazing historic sites. Besides history, the attractions in PA also focus on the cultural and natural aspects too. So, no matter wherever you go, you will find all types of attractions. In this article, I will emphasize on some of the major towns of the state.

My Trip

Among all the attractions in PA, I first explored the historic PHILADELPHIA nestled
on the Delaware River in PA. This is the fifth-largest city in the continent.
One of most visited historic attractions in PA is the Independence Hall here,
in the middle of the Independence National Historic Park, marks the place where
the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed in 1776. The
novel National Constitution Center is the first museum on Earth that pays a
tribute to the US Constitution. The glassy Liberty Bell Center is where you can
see the bell that was rung during the first public reading of the Declaration
of Independence. Further, there are indoor and outdoor areas offering
informational exhibits.

Next, I headed to the second-largest city called PITTSBURGH. Historically, the city
was the focal point of steel production. Today, the skyline of shinning
skyscrapers has take over these steel mills. It is one the most energetic
cities with its traditional cultural spirit, bustling and easily accessible
neighborhoods, and pulsating culture. The Point State Park Fountain in the
Golden Triangle region represents the formation of the Ohio River at the
confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny rivers. Besides this main
attraction, other highlights are the Carnegie Science Center and its Museum of
Natural History, the 42-storey ‘Cathedral of Learning’, the Heinz History
Center that tells all about the west Pennsylvanian history, and the Andy Warhol
Museum with 7000 works of this pop artist born in the city.
